The Flaming Lips Trading Post -> The Bootleg Archive Project

This is a continuously updated data listing of all known 24 bit / 96 Khz Flaming Lips audio available. Currently, I am organizing it by work date rather than historical chronology. This library is comprised of bootlegs and studio recordings. 24 bit / 96 Khz studio recordings are only made available to persons who own the record or single for which the particular songs appears on (you must provide some form of proof). All other 24 bit /96 Khz bootleg recordings can be possessed by anyone. If you are interested in obtaining these large files, please join a trading tree.

If you have any master or low-generation bootleg analog audio and would like to contributed to the "bootleg archive project," you can e-mail it's administrator here.

You will be given credit in this library for your contributions. All submissions will be returned in a timely fashion.

If you have the equipment to make 24 bit / 96 Khz recordings yourself, please do so. Just follow the basic format below when providing us with information regarding the file(s).

Please do not use this listing to ask for trades from people who submitted recordings. There is a formal message board for this at the Trading Post. You can contact people directly if you have questions about generations or recording information. Though, I will attempt to get all that information ahead of time for this data list. If you know you have a lower-generation or even master analog recording than something that is currently listed, I would like to hear from you. Such a submission would make the worse recording obsolete and we would delete it upon making a new and better recording from your source.

It is not the version found on the CMJ Sampler CD, nor is it the version that appears on the "Providing Needles" EP CD. As you can hear, Wayne acknowledges Andrew Kershing (cello) playing on the track (and tells the story how that came about). I have NEVER seen this track elsewhere!
